WHO IS JESUS CHRIST?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the Messiah. He is the one true God and only way to Heaven. Jesus Christ was born from God and his virgin earthly mother, Mary. He was sent to Earth to experience human life, like we do. He suffered pain, sadness, rejection and hardships, along with happiness and joy. He was perfect and did not sin. Christ started His ministry at around 30 years of age. He ministered, taught, healed, loved, and saved countless people over three years. Ultimately, Christ was crucified on the cross as the Passover Lamb. He was put to death so that we may be saved from our sins have eternal life. Christ paid our sin debt to God so that we may believe, have faith in Him, and be saved from the wrath of God and transform us into image bearers of Christ. 

WHY DO WE NEED SAVED?

God is a good, faithful, and patient ruler. He created everything and everyone on earth. Humans were his greatest creation, yet they could not understand His desires for us. We are evil, rebellious, and want to have control over our own lives. We do not want to believe that God is who we should be trusting in. We want to trust in ourselves. However, God seeing how helpless and disobedient we are, gives us a chance to be saved. God is a fair ruler, which means his patience and kindness also comes with wrath and damnation. He sent His son to Earth so that Christ could be the ultimate sacrifice for us. His blood was poured out so that we may become new creations in Him. If you do not become a new creation in Christ, then you are going to be forced to suffer a life of judgment, wrath, and damnation in Hell.
